Botulinum Toxin Type A is a form of muscle relaxant. It works by helping the muscles under the skin relax, and this reduces the creasing of the skin which results in wrinkles. The art of good Botulinum treatment is to make you look refreshed, to smooth the skin and to retain a natural look with some degree of movement. However, if you wish to have a more 'frozen' look, this can be achieved easily with slight different concentrations of the 'units' given. During the consultation we will ask you what your aim and goals are so we can meet your expectations of treatment.

Botulinum Toxin treatment is a very effective way of slowing down the ageing appearance of lines caused by facial expressions. However, as we age, and due to changes in the bone, muscle, fat and skin of the face, dermal filler treatment may be used in combination, or instead of toxin treatment.

An initial consultation is required to determine concerns and establish suitability for treatment. The consultation fee is £50 and will be deducted from the cost of treatment should you wish to proceed.
